What is MAU?
MAU (Monthly Active Users) is the number of unique users who connect to chat at least once in a month. No matter how often the same user connects, they only count once — so your bill tracks the actual size of your service, predictably.What is CCU (concurrent users)?
CCU (Concurrent Users) is the number of users connected to the chat servers at the same moment. sendstage bills on MAU, and concurrent connections are included in the Standard plan. If you expect very large concurrency, the Enterprise plan lets you negotiate terms that fit.How do free development projects differ from paid ones?
Features are identical, but scale is limited: free development projects support up to 50 concurrent users (CCU), and new connections are rejected beyond that. Validate everything while you build, then switch production traffic to the Standard plan.Are there costs beyond the base plan?
Message sending, storage, and push notifications never cost extra. Some usage-based add-ons — such as file storage and real-time auto translation — may incur separate charges depending on usage. We'll share the details when you get in touch.
